Kerry D. Moynihan is a Managing Director at ZRG Partners, LLC. Throughout his 30-year career, his professional expertise and consultative approach have helped clients successfully build the value of their enterprises. His client engagements have covered a wide range of industries including the retail and consumer sector, business services, financial services, technology, and even NGOs.

Strategically restructuring Boards of Directors is a specialty of his. Kerry also specializes in building executive management teams for the portfolio companies of leveraged buyout and venture capital funds, as well as public companies undergoing dramatic growth or rapid change. Most typically, these are for CEO and CFO roles. Kerry has divided his consulting career between New York and Washington, DC and was a partner with two of the world’s largest executive search firms for more than a dozen years. His experience spans work with clients on six continents and he holds dual US and EU citizenship. He has served on a number of advisory boards for emerging companies in technology and business services. He has written about and is sought by the media for his views on corporate governance, human capital, and executive compensation issues and has served as an expert witness on the latter.

He has served a number of advisory boards, including companies in the alternative energy and investment banking sectors.

Education

Kerry is a graduate of the University of Virginia in English Literature and holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.

Hobbies and Interests

In addition to his business activities, Kerry has served on the National Selection Committee of the Jefferson Scholars Program at UVA; as President of the Wharton Alumni Assistance Fund; as the Treasurer of the Claude Moore Colonial Farm, the only privately-funded national park in the USA; and on the board of SOS Children’s Villages USA. He is an avid skier and was long active in coaching youth lacrosse.
