Tim Kemp is a Managing Director based in the firm’s London office who specializes in HR functional roles and professional services.

Tim Kemp originally trained as an Occupational Psychologist. The early part of his career was spent in International HR Management in manufacturing industry with Massey Ferguson and later in the Technology industry with Prime Computer and Unisys. He was European HRD for Unisys for 6 years.

Tim then moved into HR consulting. He was a partner with PWC in London where he led the Organizational Change practice for the firm focused mainly on the Financial Services sector. As well as driving a number of major organizational change programs for banks including Barclays and UBS he also spent a number of years on secondment in central government. He was responsible for setting up the first functional transformation programme across the UK Civil Service known as ‘Modernizing People Management’.

Previous Experience

He moved into search in 2006 with Korn Ferry where he led the Professional Services search practice. In his 11 years in executive search he has continued to focus on the PS market recruiting at partner and director levels for firms such as PwC, EY, KPMG, BCG and ATK. He has also led the HR search practice of CTPartners across Europe and been active in coaching senior executives across industry sectors.

Hobbies and Interests

Tim has 3 children, enjoys all sports, cooking, cinema and theatre. He is an avid Manchester United fan.
