Graham Johnson joined ZRG Partners in May 2012 as Managing Director in the Life Sciences practice. He is based in Basel and covers executive search activities in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and central & Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining ZRG, Graham worked for 9 years for Ken Clark International as an executive search consultant in Europe. In this role, he was responsible for business development and search execution in the Life Sciences and chemical industries.

Earlier in his career, Graham worked as a business executive for Rolic Technologies in the electronic materials industry; for Ciba-Geigy (later Ciba Specialty Chemicals) as a commercial and business development manager in the pigments industry; and for Shell International, as a petroleum engineer in oil & gas exploration.

Education and Background

Graham is a British citizen. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. He has lived and worked in Asia, The Netherlands and Switzerland, and has travelled extensively across the globe. Graham’s personal interests include home improvements, films, photography, and sport of all kinds, especially tennis and skiing. He is married and has three daughters.
